Let’s try again. You sound so wonderfully happy here that my heart just breaks for you in hearing the news of your Dad’s passing. You have such a long journey ahead of you in life and it is only just beginning. I love that movie! For some reason I didn’t realize there was a book…I’ll have to read it.
Did you ever see the sequel, “Ripley’s Game?” John Malkovich plays Ripley, and in my mind, he definitely looks like a man who’s spent his lifetime decieving people, his emotions hardening until they no longer exist.

Ive been wnating to say this for a hiwle .. so now I’m saying it.. I enjoy the fact that you and Tom seem to be more of a couple that doesn’t really care tht much material things for your wedding and marriage. Thats a great thing. Sadly, its a rarity to see an intrest in things that matter more like family, growing with one another in love. I know part of it is due your dad’s illnes, but still I appreciate and enjoy to see people who care more about real things of life then just getting “everything” that is offered in the world. Well that is long enough of a post there.

That’s so friggin’ awesome.

You know, I’ve been starting to wonder if I should just self-fund one really sweet tech conference per year, like SXSW. Work generally won’t pay for it unless it directly applies to what I’m doing, but you’d figure the networking opportunities would pay a return on the investment.

Still, Tufte in NYC? I’ve got Envisioning Information, which is always fun to flip through from time to time.

Ha! I know how Tom feels… tell him that for most of this year (my birthday is in Jan) Ive been saying Im 23. Jace had to remind me a few times “No, honey, you are 24. Too early for you to be lying about your age.”

But see, these are only rules for articles that one submits for publication, you know? Not for blogwriting. You can do much on a blog you couldn’t do in an article, IMHO.

So lete me guess you did nothing but study like 20 hours a day and sleep like less then three? RPI sounds extremly intense compared to my school www.olivet.edu But oh well… How was your day? Mine was realxaed except traveling to city for a job…
